All Hallows is great - the kids are great too! How's Mr Keane doing and his year 5 class? I'm doing fine in high school and I've not got any detentions so that's pretty cool. My teachers are astonishing and I'm in great classes no wonder it's the 3rd best high school in Salford!

Hi Catherine, Yes I remember your mother very well. To me she was called privately, "Lanky Lovely Legs", she was tall then and always wore a raincoat, at least when I saw her. Thank you to Jean Butler and John Hollard for getting back to me about the Azzopardi family . Raymond's dad was called Charlie not sure of his mum's name but he had a brother called Vincent, a sister called Teresa not sure of the youngest one . While I've been busy on my side, my wife Ros was asking about her old friends who she lost touch with . They all lived in Salford either in Ordsall or near the precinct. I will give you their names maybe one of you may know them .It would be a nice surprise for her if you did .We used to go drinking in the Welcome pub in Ordsall lane. Her friends were Carol Blake who had brothers Eddy and Steve .Jean Worthington, Anne Hindle, also Anne Prior- I think her sister was Jean. I left Mount Carmel in the last year of junior school. We moved to Worsley when the houses were being pulled down. I lived at 95 West Worsley St from 1962-1972. My maiden name is Burgess, my dad George Burgess went to St Joseph's in the 20's. I went to Trafford Rd Infants and Junior school. My gran livedon the same street as us her name was Kitty Lenord as she married again after my grandad died when my dad was young. My mum was Annie Burgess. Does anyone remember our family?

Pauline Devlin, did you live on Phoebe St? I left in 63 to go to DLS. I'm searching the house for my old photos but my memory of you is blonde ringlets -but it was 50 years ago. I remember going to Fr Dolan's evening disco a couple of times but used to go more to his discussion group - which gradually turned into a 5-a side evening in the hall.

Went to Joeys 55-63. Still got some pics. Names I remember- Moran, Camilleri, Cauchi?,Tyson, Whittaker, Dempsey, Richardson, Smid, Highland, Haws?, Frances Callaghan, Pauline Shields, Anne Bonechi? and many more. Yes you're right - it was St Joseph's. It is still there even though it is smaller than when I was there. The Church is there too.
